Team
Founders Cassandra Nordell-MacLean and Patrick MacLean along with the design, production and install teams are dedicated to helping you through any project step by step, from redesigning existing spaces to working from the ground up. Our talented design team includes kitchen and bathroom experts that have the skill, experience and creativity to make your dream project a reality. Our in house project manager will arrange your renovation schedule so that you only have to deal with one company for your project. We work with only highly qualified professional craftsmen and installers, so you can rest assured that your project will run smoothly.
Heritage
William is after founder Cassandra Nordell-MacLean's grandfather and father - William Nordell. Standen is named after founder Patrick MacLean's grandfather - Charles Standen Jeffery.

William Standen Co. specializes in high-quality custom cabinetry and countertops for the kitchen and bathroom for homes, apartments, cottages and offices. Our selection of 300 custom cabinetry colours and finishes range from minimalist high-gloss and contemporary options to elegant gold leaf and classic wood veneers. Or have our design team create your own unique finish. Our 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art production facility features the most technologically advanced woodworking equipment available today. It’s because of this time-perfected manufacturing process that we are able to offer a lifetime warranty on all of our cabinetry. We also offer countertops in quartz, granite, concrete, solid surfacing, glass, laminate and more, allowing you to perfectly coordinate your project.

William Standen Co. is the first and only certified eco-friendly custom cabinetry provider in Sarnia Lambton. In addition, many of our hardwood components are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to be harvested from responsibly managed forests. Over 75 per cent of our products are finished at our facility, where our low-VOC finishes are hand-applied to eliminate waste and we use an active recycling program in our facility that processes solvents, paper and cardboard, plastics and wood waste. We’re also committed to offering products that are healthy for your home. While other manufacturers use materials containing harmful chemicals that off-gas into your air, our finishes, particleboard and plywood are free of added formaldehyde and other air pollutants, resulting in better air quality for you and your family.

Air Quality:
Our cabinets are constructed using a low VOC finish and is hand applied to eliminate waste. Our finish does not contain added formaldehyde and other air pollutants, resulting in better air quality for you and your family.
Our particle board and plywood does not contain added formaldehyde or pollutants. More than 75% of our products are finished at our facility and the finish used emits no hazardous air pollutants. Several of our wood species are grown within Canada.
Resource Management:
We offer FSC (Forestry Stewardship Counsel) certified hardwood components. We utilize an active recycling program that processes our following waste items:
