How We Transformed This Home
Bathrooms
For the ensuite and main bathroom, the day starts and ends in these rooms and so we wanted to create a space that exuded timeless elegance and beauty. The neutral colours invoke a state a calm and all storage needs have been met in these spaces.
A mix of glass and solid door cabinetry creates a space for display items as well as storage for everyday items. The ensuite bathroom in this new home needed to necessitate a positive space for beginning and ending the day. Wall to wall storage allows the family to store towels, linens and everyday items with ease.
A freestanding vintage style soaker tub, paired with the cream custom cabinetry create a personal spa-like oasis.
Kitchen
Custom cabinetry at its finest. This designer kitchen features warm grey painted cabinetry, made with an all wood cabinet box and interior. High ceilings met with upper cabinetry create an impressive view while in the space.
A ten foot wide window overlooks the property filled with trees and wildlife. The durable yet striking quartz countertops are maintenance free and easy to clean.
The island, complete with walnut doors and solid walnut dovetail drawer boxes warms the room and brings a timeless element to the space.
The six-foot-wide custom wood, painted range hood sets the stage of luxury for this kitchen. It houses a three-blower ventilation unit to remove steam and grease from the air while cooking on the professional style gas range.
Intricate chevron patterned marble and glass backsplash tile add texture to the space without being too bold.
Butler's Pantry
Just outside the kitchen lies the butler’s pantry. This space was designed to aid in entertaining, preparing specialty coffee, beverages and snacks. It features a trough sink, beverage fridge and plenty of storage for serving trays, martini and wine glasses.
The marble and glass chevron tile backsplash was carried throughout this room to add texture and a dynamic feel to the room. The butler’s pantry features floor to ceiling flawlessly finished custom cabinetry. A built-in coffee maker allows the family and guests to enjoy a specialty coffee, latte or espresso after a meal or during a dinner party.
