How We Transformed This Home
Kitchen
The homeowners desired a sleek, modern and timeless white high gloss kitchen.
The custom kitchen cabinetry is finished in our ten-step high gloss finish in classic white. Accent cabinets are made from maple and finished with our graphite stain. The countertops feature a 2” thick edge that waterfalls down the side of the cabinets to the right of the fridge. The wall oven, microwave and warming drawer serve the clients’ entertaining needs, while limiting back bending and reaching too high while handling hot items.
The large prep pantry features retractable doors, a fully finished painted cabinet and interior with graphite accents. Inside there are produce baskets, apothecary drawers for spices and adjustable shelving for small kitchen appliances.
A custom built in banquette was designed for the family to enjoy meals together and looking to the future, for children’s homework and craft time.
Master Bathroom
The master bath was designed to bring a calming and relaxing mood to its occupants. Soft whites and neutral colour palette bring a sense of peace, and the hand-printed European wallpaper accentuates the other features without overshadowing them. Curved, high gloss his and hers vanity cabinets feature a door that opens by sliding downwards, and the cast countertops have seamless integrated sinks. The toilet was designed to be situated in its own private room with a pocket door for added privacy.
The large 60” walk in shower has full glass doors, a custom teak beam and a rain showerhead that allows the water to fall gently into the centre of the shower.
Closet
The closet in the master bedroom is a dream come true for any organizer. It features:
- Custom pullouts for ties, belts and pants
- Chrome rods for short and tall hanging items
- Custom maple dovetail shoe rollouts
- frosted glass cabinet doors and adjustable shelving
